The Pawsitioner is available in two styles. The Surgical Pawsitioner is shaped and contoured to allow for maximum surgical exposure while still being useful for dorsoventral radiographic positioning of anesthetized animals.
The Radiographic Pawsitioner is much more versatile for radiographic positioning because the patient and positioner can be placed in dorsal, right, or left lateral recumbency without changing a single strap.
Both styles are made of the same durable high-density rotomolded polyethylene, which is virtually radiotransparent. The surfaces are smooth and non-porous making the shell a breeze to clean. Our larger Pawsitioner models provide safe, secure and easy transport of heavier patients with molded in handles. In addition, both Pawsitioner styles, including all sizes, feature adjustable metatarsal and torso strap positions allowing for a more custom fit to the patient.
